Spending on salaries of civil servants cut by 10% - PM Shmyhal

KYIV. April 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The spending on salaries of civil servants has been cut by 10%, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.

"This does not apply to either teachers or doctors. We have cut the spending by 10% in the government, the Office of the President and the Verkhovna Rada," Shmyhal said in a national TV marathon on Friday morning.

"We are cutting everything we can," he said.

As reported earlier, the government has scrapped the labor intensity bonus for the prime minister, ministers, their deputies and heads of Kyiv and regional state administrations for the period until 2024.
