Exante int'l brokerage company donates $1 mln to UNICEF for helping Ukraine

KYIV. April 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The Exante international brokerage company licensed in Cyprus, which is actively working in the Ukrainian market, has announced a $1 million donation for UNICEF assistance to affected children and families from Ukraine.

The company said in a press release that UNICEF had been rapidly scaling up humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, and neighboring countries and had supplied 858 tonnes of essentials, including medical goods, hygienic packages, education and recreation goods for children and teenagers, and winter wear, to date.

UNICEF has requested $349 million to provide vital support to children and families from Ukraine, including $276 million to accommodate pressing needs in Ukraine and $73 million for humanitarian needs in neighboring countries. The funding is expected to support over 3.5 million people, including 2.2 million children.

According the corporate website, Exante, founded in 2011, is a wealth-tech company offering centralized investment solutions and infrastructure to financial institutions. The company employs over 500 people and manages funds totaling $1.6 billion.
