U.S. authorities give deadline of April 13 for conclusion of operations with Sberbank, May 6 for Alfa Bank

MOSCOW. April 6 (Interfax) - U.S. authorities have given just one week to wind down transactions with Sberbank , which was subject to blocking sanctions on Wednesday.

The general license, published by OFAC, allows transactions with Sberbank to be completed by April 13.

A similar license for Alfa Bank, also on the SDN List, is valid until May 6.

The licenses also apply to subsidiaries of Sberbank and Alfa Bank. A separate license is for winding down transactions with Sberbank CIB USA, it ends on June 7.
