Overall int'l assistance to Ukraine tops $20 bln - Ukrainian National Bank head

KYIV. April 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The overall financial assistance granted to Ukraine by international partners tops $20 billion, Ukrainian National Bank head Kyrylo Shevchenko said.

"Financial assistance granted to Ukraine currently exceeds $20 billion. Some of the funds have been received," Shevchenko said in an interview with the Toronto Center international Canadian organization on Tuesday.

At the beginning of March, Shevchenko estimated international financial, technical and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine at a sum equivalent to over $15 billion, including more than $5 billion assistance provided directly to the budget.
