Ukraine's monthly military spending around $10 bln - Finance Ministry

KYIV. April 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The Ukrainian government spends approximately $10 billion a month on military action, according to figures from the Finance Ministry, unveiled at a meeting chaired by President Volodymyr Zelensky with members of his administration and ministers in charge of the economy, the head of state's press service stated on Saturday.

"The meeting focused on sources of funding the expenses, in particular Ukraine's own tax revenues and aid from its international partners. In the same context, [the attendees] touched on prospects of the switch in April to a simplified taxation system," the statement said.

The attendees also discussed the sowing campaign, including providing agricultural companies with fuel, and considered options for diversifying fuel imports.
