Nine humanitarian corridors functioning in Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Luhansk regions on Friday - Ukrainian Deputy PM Vereshchuk

KYIV. April 1 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Nine humanitarian corridors were opened in Ukraine on Friday, April 1, including those from Mariupol, Enerhodar, Berdyansk and Melitopol to Zaporizhzhya, as well as from Rubizhne, Severodonetsk, Popasna, Lysychansk, and Nyzhne to Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk said on Friday.

"From Mariupol to Zaporizhzhya on private vehicles: Mariupol - Manhush - Berdyansk - Tokmak - Vasylivka - Kamyanske - Zaporizhzhya. From Enerhodar to Zaporizhzhya on private vehicles: Enerhodar - Dniprorudne - Vasylivka - Zaporizhzhya," Vereshchuk wrote on Telegram on Friday.

In addition, buses and private automobiles will evacuate people from Berdyansk to Zaporizhzhya via Tokmak, Vasylivka, and Kamyanske, and from Melitopol to Zaporizhzhya via Vasylivka, she said.

Evacuation corridors will also function on Friday to evacuate people from Rubizhne, Severodonetsk, Popasna, Lysychansk and Nyzhne in the Luhansk region to Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The corridor from Rubizhne will run via Severodonetsk and Lysychansk, and that from Nyzhne via Hirske and Lysychansk, Vereshchuk said.
