Rospotrebnadzor lifts requirement for questionnaires and PCR tests for people returning to Russia by land

MOSCOW. March 31 (Interfax) - Russia's consumer rights watchdog Rospotrebnadzor has lifted the requirement to fill out questionnaires on the Gosuslugi (state services) portal and take PCR tests for coronavirus for Russian citizens returning to Russia from abroad via a land border.

Relevant changes have been made to the decree issued by Russia's chief state sanitary doctor Anna Popova, On Ensuring Isolation to Contain the Spread of Covid-19, published on the official legal information portal.

Under the document, information is added to Paragraph 2 that specifies that it does not apply to Russian citizens entering Russia via land border check points.

The document required Russians to fill out questionnaires on the Gosuslugi site 24 hours after returning from abroad and to provide information on vaccination or antibodies or, if they are not available, on the result of PCR tests for coronavirus upon returning to the country.

The requirement to fill out a questionnaire and take PCR tests is also lifted for citizens of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
