Russia-Ukraine summit may be discussed after senior officials endorse, initial agreement - Peskov

MOSCOW. March 31 (Interfax) - The text of agreements should be discussed in detail before a possible meeting between the presidents of Russia and Ukraine is considered, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"As we have said before, a summit should be preceded by the finalized work on the agreement text and its endorsement and initialing by senior officials. Only then a summit can be discussed," Peskov said at a press briefing on Thursday in response to a question whether Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky might meet as early as in April 2022.
