Zelensky offers Australia to join program to restore Ukrainian regions

KYIV. March 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on Australia to join a program aimed at restoring Ukraine's regions, including the coast of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

"We invite leading states of the world, leading companies and leading specialists to join the project to restore Ukraine, to take a region, a city or an industry in our country that needs to be rebuilt under your patronage," Zelensky said in a video address to the Australian parliament on Thursday.

Zelensky also invited Australia to "take a good look at our southern regions, at our coast of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov."

"The restoration of our ports, the development of cities such as Kherson, the restoration of the maritime sector of Ukraine may become your special contribution to stability," he said.
