Zelensky, Biden discuss defense assistance for Ukraine

KYIV. March 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky and his American counterpart Joe Biden have discussed Washington's macro-financial, humanitarian and defense assistance for Ukraine and further anti-Russian sanctions.

"Just finished an hour-long conversation with President of the U.S. {We] shared an assessment of the situation on the battlefield and at the negotiating table. Talked about specific defensive support, a new package of enhanced sanctions, macro-financial and humanitarian aid," Zelensky tweeted on Wednesday evening.
