Ukraine receives nearly 150,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid over 3 weeks of March - Zelensky's office

KYIV. March 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukraine received 148,566 tonnes of humanitarian aid from its international partners over the first three weeks of March, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, deputy chief of the Ukrainian presidential office, said on Telegram on Monday.

Part of this amount, i.e. 38,388 tonnes, has been delivered by the national railway company Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ), and trucking companies have also done substantial job, he said.

"I'd like to thank everyone who is applying efforts to make sure that food products, medicines, fuel, and other necessities reach cities, villages, and settlements where the people have been hit the hardest," Tymoshenko said.

The headquarters and local hubs where humanitarian aid has been delivered are showing good teamwork, Tymoshenko said. Humanitarian cargo is being distributed from regional logistical centers to local communities and delivery points, he said.
