Total of 275 people evacuated from Rubizhne and Lysychansk in first half of day - administration head

KYIV. March 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Around 130 people who stayed at shelters in Rubizhne in the Luhansk region were evacuated from the city on Sunday, the Luhansk region's state administration said on social media.

According to head of the Luhansk region's military administration Serhiy Haidai, 155 civilians were evacuated from Rubizhne and another 120 from Lysychansk in the first half of the day.

"We have brought several tonnes of humanitarian aid - food, essential items, medications - to those who are still in the city [Rubizhne]," Haidai said.
