Hungary temporary allows Ukrainian shipping carriers make shipments on its territory without authorization

KYIV. March 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Hungary has allowed Ukrainian shipping carriers to make all bilateral and transit shipments on its territory without authorization until April 30, the Ukrainian State Transport Safety Service said on social media.

"The Ukrainian State Transport Safety Service is thankful to the Hungarian Ministry of Innovation and Technology for the decision, as it will allow Ukrainian shipping carriers to make all shipments necessary for the country's resilience and the Ukrainian economy without any link to authorizations and additional administrative barriers," the service said.

Hungary has become the fourth EU member state that has temporary lifted authorization procedures.

Earlier, Latvia allowed Ukrainian shipping carriers to make bilateral and transit shipments through its territory without authorization. Slovakia and Bulgaria allows Ukrainian shipping carriers to transit cargo and passengers on their territory.
