Over 128,000 tonnes of humanitarian cargo delivered to Ukraine - Premier Shmyhal

KYIV. March 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Over 128,000 tonnes of humanitarian cargo have been delivered to Ukraine so far, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.

"Thanks to our international partners and people with big hearts around the world, more than 128,000 tonnes of humanitarian goods have been delivered to Ukraine," Shmyhal said in his address in the early hours of Saturday.

There are currently no queues at checkpoints on the Western border of Ukraine, he said. The management of the State Customs Service is monitoring the situation around the clock to avoid delays with supplies of humanitarian cargo.

The prime minister also emphasized that according to the new regulations, there is no need to obtain any documents from state military administrations or other authorities in order to import humanitarian goods.
