Ukraine opens 3 more consular offices in Poland - ambassador

KYIV. March 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukraine has opened additional consular offices in three Polish cities - Przemysl, Chelm and Lodz, and plans to open one more in Poznan, Ukraine's Ambassador to Poland Andriy Deshchytsia said.

"Our consuls have been working tirelessly, receiving 500-600 people per day. The pressure has increased five- or sixfold," Deshchytsia said in an interview with Interfax, noting that Ukrainian consulates were working practically nonstop.

Ukraine already had consulates general in Lublin, Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk and Warsaw, he said. "But this was clearly too few, because we saw big queues," the ambassador said.
