Moskalkova confirms 10-for-10 prisoner swap with Ukraine

MOSCOW. March 24 (Interfax) - Russia's human rights commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova has confirmed a prisoner swap with Ukraine under a ten for ten formula.

"The Russian Defense Ministry has done a great deal of work to bring captured Russian servicemen back home. I can confirm the exchange of ten Russian servicemen detained in Ukraine for ten Ukrainian servicemen. And also, civilian Russian sailors from the Millennial Spirit vessel were exchanged for Ukrainian civilian sailors from the Sapphire rescue vessel," Moskalkova told Interfax on Thursday.

"We, too, were involved in establishing contact with Ukraine on this issue. Work continues in the framework of the queries I receive from citizens," she said.
