Wandle Holdings replaces PGIL as main shareholder of Polyus

MOSCOW. March 24 (Interfax) - The Cyprus-registered Wandle Holdings has become the main shareholder on Polyus instead of the Jersey-registered Polyus Gold International Limited (PGIL), the Russian gold miner said in a statement.

PGIL's 76.34% voting stake in Polyus was transferred to Wandle. The company had been mentioned as the sole owner of PGIL prior to this. Said Kerimov owns a controlling stake on Polyus via these companies.

Management owns 1.36% of Polyus and 0.5% is held in treasury. The free float is 21.8%.
