RusHydro transfers funds to payment agent for coupon payment on ruble-denominated Eurobonds

MOSCOW. March 24 (Interfax) - RusHydro has transferred funds in the amount of 812.5 million rubles to pay the coupon yield on the 20-billion-ruble Eurobond issue maturing in 2022. The funds have been received by Bank of New York Mellon , the company said on Thursday.

The scheduled coupon payment date is March 28.

This issue was placed in 2017 at 8.125% per annum, and the issuer is RusHydro Capital Markets DAC. The coupon payment obligations were fulfilled "on time, in full and in accordance with the issue documentation of the Eurobond issue," RusHydro said.

Earlier on Thursday, it was announced that RusHydro, along with a number of other companies and banks from Russia, had been put on the UK sanctions list.
