Russia expels Montenegrin embassy employee - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. March 24 (Interfax) - As a retaliatory measure, Russia is expelling an employee of the Embassy of Montenegro in Moscow, the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

"On March 24, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Montenegro to the Russian Federation, [Milorad] Scepanovic, was summoned to the Foreign Ministry of Russia where he was handed a note of the Ministry declaring an employee of the Embassy of Montenegro in Moscow persona non grata," the ministry's website stated.

"This measure is a response to the entirely unsubstantiated decision the Montenegrin side made on March 4 to declare a diplomat from the Russian Embassy in Podgorica persona non grata."
