Putin, Bennett discuss Ukrainian crisis in phone talk

MOSCOW. March 23 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett had a telephone conversation on Wednesday to discuss the situation around Ukraine, the Kremlin's press service said.

"Bennett shared his assessment of the situation around Ukraine, considering his recent contacts with leaders of several foreign countries and expressed some ideas in relation to the negotiating process between Russian and Ukrainian representatives," the Russian presidential press service said in a statement.

"Putin gave his opinion of the negotiations and the course of the special military operation to defend Donbas," it said.
