Employers in Ukraine to get compensations during 2 months for new settlers they employ - govt resolution

KYIV. March 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Those employers giving jobs to new settlers will have their expenses compensated for in the amount of up to 6,500 hryvni per every such employee during two months, according to Ukrainian Government Resolution No. 331 issued on March 20.

"The total period of time for which a compensation for such expenses is to be provided will not be longer than two months of the day that this person was hired [...]," the government resolution said.

According to the Ukrainian government resolution, in order to receive such compensation, an employer must not earlier than five calendar days after hiring a settler submit an application for compensation of expenses to an employment center or a branch of the latter, or using the Diia public services portal.

For the purposes of such compensation, one particular settler may be employed only once, the document says.
