Senior executive Sergei Tverdokhleb appointed CEO of EuroChem

MOSCOW. March 18 (Interfax) - Sergei Tverdokhleb, who was previously deputy for special projects and External Relations, has been appointed CEO of EuroChem MCC, the company said in a statement.

Vladimir Rashevsky resigned as CEO of EuroChem CEO on March 17 following his inclusion in the European Union's sanctions list.

Tverdokhleb also replaced Rashevsky on the board of directors of EuroChem MCC, which manages the Russian projects of EuroChem Group AG.

EuroChem founder Andrei Melnichenko was also included in the EU sanctions list last week. The company on March 9 announced that Melnichenko had ceased being its beneficiary and that he had resigned from the board of directors. EuroChem has not specified who has assumed control of the group.

Melnichenko previously controlled 90% of the group's parent company, Switzerland-based EuroChem Group AG, through Cyprus-based AIM Capital SE.
