About 35,000 people leave Mariupol over past 2 days - regional administration head

KYIV. March 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) - About 35,000 civilians have left Mariupol on their own vehicles and on foot since the time humanitarian corridors were opened in the area, Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk regional military administration, said on Friday.

Speaking during a TV marathon, Kyrylenko said the regional administration is adjusting the evacuation logistics, and all Mariupol residents leaving the city are receiving the necessary aid.
