Aeroflot subsidiary permitted by Rosaviatsia to perform maintenance of foreign aircraft with Russian registration

MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - Aircraft maintenance and repair provider A-Technics (part of Aeroflot Group ) has been audited by Rosaviatsia for an extended FAP-285 certificate for maintenance of Boeing and Airbus aircraft.

"Obtaining the expanded certificate allows the company to perform prompt and periodic maintenance of Western-made aircraft registered in the Russian register and ensure the maintenance of the airworthiness of the entire air fleet of Aeroflot Group airlines: the Boeing 737NG, Boeing 777, Boeing 747-400, Airbus A320Family and Airbus A350," Aeroflot said in a statement.
