No lines to checkpoints on Ukraine's western border - customs

KYIV. March 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) - There are insignificant or no lines to checkpoints on the western border of Ukraine, the Ukrainian State Customs Service said in a statement as of 9 a.m. on Thursday.

About 100 people are standing in line at the Krakovets checkpoint on the Polish border, and there are either no lines or they comprise fewer than 20 vehicles at the others, the service said on Telegram.

Meanwhile, the Polish Border Guard said on Thursday that some 1.9 million people left Ukraine for Poland since February 24.

"Some 1.95 million people have come to Poland from Ukraine since February 24. Border officers cleared 60,000 persons on March 16, which is an 11% decline," the agency said.
