Nine humanitarian passages approved for Thursday - Ukrainian Deputy PM

KYIV. March 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) - It is planned to open nine humanitarian passages on Thursday, according to Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk.

"Nine humanitarian passages have been approved for today. There is the Mariupol-Zaporizhzhya passage in the Donetsk region. We have asked for approval of this route and are planning to send buses from Zaporizhzhya to Berdyansk to pick up people in Mariupol. Besides, a tank truck will be running along the route to fuel private vehicles," Vereshchuk said at a press briefing on Thursday.

There will be Borodyanka-Zhytomyr and Shevchenkove-Brovary humanitarian passages in the Kyiv region, she said.

"Besides, we are planning to deliver food and drugs as humanitarian aid to Hostomel, Bucha, Semypolky, Markivtsy, and Opanasiv," Vereshchuk said.

Humanitarian aid will be supplied on the Kharkiv-Vovchansk route in the Kharkiv region, she said.
