Over 800 journalists from across the world currently working in Lviv - city council

KYIV. March 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) - More than 800 journalists from 50 countries on five continents have visited the Lviv International Media Center since it opened a month ago, the press service for the Lviv city council said on Thursday.

Most of the journalists were from France (14% of the total number), Italy (7%), Poland (6%), the United States (6%), Spain (6%), the United Kingdom (4%), Canada (3%), and Portugal (3%). The center's visitors also included journalists from Japan, China, Australia, Brazil, New Zealand, Argentina, India, and other countries. Ukrainian journalists accounted for 11% of the total number.

The Lviv International Media Center opened on February 18, becoming the main platform for foreign journalists' work. It was reorganized into the Ukraine Media Center on March 14, moved to another location and became a joint project of the city and the Office of the President of Ukraine.
