Over 4,000 arrive in Zaporizhzhya from Mariupol on Wednesday - Mariupol city council

KYIV. March 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Nearly 4,400 people, including over 1,000 children, have arrived in Zaporizhzhya from Mariupol, the Mariupol city council said.

"More than 1,565 automobiles have arrived from Mariupol today. Anatoliy Kurtev, secretary of the Zaporizhzhya city council, is saying that 4,329 people, among them 1,033 children, are in Zaporizhzhya already," it said.

The people are receiving the necessary aid, including hot meals, medicines, and food products, and medical specialists are examining those injured and providing psychological aid to those in need, it said.
