Stances presented by Ukrainian, Russian delegations at talks 'become more realistic' - Zelensky

KYIV. March 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) - The stances presented by the Ukrainian and Russian delegation at the bilateral talks "have become more realistic," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said.

"The meetings are continuing and, as I have been told, the stances presented at the negotiations have become more realistic," Zelensky said in a video released on Telegram.

"It will take time to reconcile decisions with the interests of Ukraine. This is difficult but important," he said.

Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office, said on Tuesday that the delegations of Ukraine and Russia would continue negotiations on Wednesday.

"We will continue the talks tomorrow. The negotiating process is extremely complicated and viscous. There are fundamental differences. Yet, of course, there is also place for compromise. The subgroups will keep working in the meantime," Podolyak said on Twitter.
