Belarusian MPs approve extending operation by Russia of military facilities in Belarus

MINSK. March 15 (Interfax) - The House of Representatives of the Belarusian parliament on Tuesday ratified treaties on military cooperation with Russia.

The bill was presented by Belarusian Defense Minister Viktor Khrenin, the press service for the lower house of the Belarusian parliament said.

The bill proposed ratifying a protocol between the governments of Belarus and Russia on extending the agreement regulating the operation and maintenance of the Vileika signal center and the completion of the construction, operation and maintenance of the Baranovichi facility of the early warning system located on Belarusian territory, the press service said.
