Curfew to be imposed in Kyiv
KYIV. March 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) - A 36-hour curfew will be imposed in Kyiv from 8 p.m. on March 15 until 7 a.m. on March 17, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
"There will be a curfew in Kyiv from 8 p.m. on March 15 until 7 a.m. on March 17," Klitschko said on Telegram.
Kyiv is going through a complicated and dangerous moment, he said.
"Moving around the city will not be permitted without special passes. People may go out only to reach a shelter. The curfew will be in effect until 7 a.m. on March 17," the mayor said.
He asked all Kyiv residents to be prepared to stay home or head to a shelter as they hear air raid sirens for the next two days.
