Mazepin transfers control of UralChem to two senior executives

MOSCOW. March 15 (Interfax) - Dmitry Mazepin, who came under EU sanctions last week, has transferred control of the UralChem group to his longtime associates, Dmitry Tatyanin, the company's chairman of the board of directors, and CEO Dmitry Konyaev.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Tatyanin, who has been the legal director of UralChem since 2007, now owns 48% of Basic Chemical Company UralChem LLC, and owns JSC UralChem UCC. Konyaev, who has again headed UralChem UCC, obtained 4% of the company. The changes took place on March 14.

Last Thursday, UralChem reported that Mazepin had sold 52% of BCC UralChem LLC, reducing his stake to 48%. Mazepin also resigned as CEO of UralChem UCC.

Dmitry Konyaev, who headed UralChem from 2011 to 2018, was appointed as the new CEO of the company. Konyaev had been the chairman of the company's board of directors since last year. Tatyanin is now the chairman of the board.
