Polish, Czech, Slovenian prime ministers to visit Kyiv on Tuesday for meeting with Zelensky

KYIV. March 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Polish Deputy Prime Minister Jaroslaw Kaczynski, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala, and Prime Minister of Slovenia Janez Jansa will visit Kyiv on Tuesday, the Chancellery of the Polish prime minister said in a statement.

"Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Security and Defense Committee Jaroslaw Kaczynski together with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala and Prime Minister of Slovenia Janez Jansa are going to Kyiv today as representatives of the European Council to meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal," it said.

The visit has been organized in consultation with the President of the European Council Charles Michel and the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, the chancellery said. The aim of the visit is to confirm the EU's support for the sovereignty and independence of Ukraine and to present a broad package of support for Ukraine and Ukrainians.
