Seventy-eight people evacuated from Mariupol, 5 from Volnovakha in past day - DPR

DONETSK. March 15 (Interfax) - Seventy-eight civilians, among them children, were evacuated from Mariupol in the past day, the territorial defense headquarters of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) said on Tuesday.

"Over the past 24 hours, from 8:00 a.m. on March 14 to 8:00 a.m. on March 15, 78 people, including six children, were evacuated from Mariupol and populated localities in its suburbs to Bezymenne in the Novoazovsk district," the headquarters said.

Five people have been evacuated from Volnovakha, where fighting is also ongoing, in the past day, it said.
