Zelensky proposes extending martial law in Ukraine for another 30 days from March 26 - bill
KYIV. March 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has submitted a bill to the Verkhovna Rada containing a proposal to extend martial law in Ukraine for another 30 days from March 26, according to the parliamentary website.
"The Verkhovna Rada hereby orders that the Ukrainian president's decree No. 133/2022 'On the extension of the period of martial law in Ukraine', dated March 14, 2022, be endorsed," the bill said.
Martial law was introduced in Ukraine on February 24, when Russia started a special military operation there.
