Putin, Bennett discuss Ukraine, agree to continue dialogue

MOSCOW. March 14 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett have had a telephone call at the initiative of the Israeli side.

"The parties continued exchanging views on the situation surrounding the special operation to protect the Donbas republics. In this context, Vladimir Putin drew attention to the latest barbaric act committed by Ukrainian troops, today's missile strike on the central block of Donetsk using a cluster bomb, which caused numerous casualties among the city's civilians," the Kremlin's press service said.

"Bennett informed the Russian president about his recent contacts about Ukraine with leaders of a number of countries," it said. "Vladimir Putin, for his part, shared his evaluation of the negotiation process between the Russian and Ukrainian representatives taking place by video link these days," it said.

"The parties agreed to continue the dialogue," the Kremlin said.
