Israel has taken on mediating mission in reaching peace in Ukraine - chief of Zelensky's office

KYIV. March 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Israel has taken on a difficult but noble mission as a mediator in efforts to reach peace, head of the Ukrainian presidential office Andriy Yermak said on Facebook on Monday.

"We are maintaining an intensive dialogue with Israel concerning its involvement in the humanitarian component. Permanently in touch with [Israeli] National Security Adviser and head of the National Security Council Eyal Hulata. Have already achieved initial results: As part of evacuation efforts, Israel will begin admitting relatives of Ukrainians who are already in that country. Thanks to our partners, and I hope for success of our common diplomatic efforts," Yermak said.
