Korean Air cancels Vladivostok-Seoul flights
VLADIVOSTOK. March 14 (Interfax) - Korean Air (South Korea) has suspended flights between Vladivostok and Seoul, a representative of the Vladivostok Airport press service told Interfax on Monday.
"Korean Air has cancelled flights [from Vladivostok to Seoul), while Air Busan has cancelled no flights as of Monday," the source said.
Further adjustments are possible, he said.
Alexei Starichkov, head of the Primorye Territorial Agency for International Cooperation, said last week that Korean Air and Air Busan were each operating one flight between Vladivostok and Seoul every two weeks.
The South Korean low-coster Air Busan began regular flights between Vladivostok and Seoul on February 5. The largest South Korean airline, Korean Air, resumed regular flights between Seoul and Vladivostok at the end of January.
