Total of 30,000 civilians evacuated from Kyiv region - regional military administration head

KYIV. March 14 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Over 3,000 civilians were evacuated from the Kyiv region on Sunday, head of the Kyiv regional military administration Oleksiy Kuleba said in a video address.

"We have managed to evacuate almost 3,000 residents of Velyka Dymerka, Hoholiv and Ploske and more than 600 people from Borodyanka. They will soon be arriving in Zhytomyr. We are also waiting for buses from the Pobeda village in the Brovary district," Kuleba said on Sunday night.

As many as 30,000 residents of the Kyiv region have been evacuated to date, he said.
