Ukraine's Rada session may be held next week

KYIV. March 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) - A plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada may be held at the beginning of next week, Verkhovna Rada First Deputy Speaker Oleksandr Kornienko said.

"We are preparing a session at the beginning of the next week," Kornienko was quoted as saying by the Verkhovna Rada website on Saturday.

The deputies will consider economic bills at the plenary session, the first deputy speaker said. "In particular, there are initiatives that will help decrease fuel prices. This is extremely important before the beginning of the sowing campaign," Kornienko said.

He also noted that military issues would also be on the agenda of the session. The deputies will report on the outcome of the plenary session following it for security purposes, Kornienko said.
