Russia-Ukraine talks continuing, taking place by video link - Peskov

MOSCOW. March 12 (Interfax) - The Russian and Ukrainian delegations are continuing the talks, which are now taking place by videoconference, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told Interfax on Saturday.

"Indeed, the negotiations are continuing by video link. [Russian presidential aide] Vladimir Medinsky is continuing to lead the delegation," Peskov said.

"As regards details, we refrain for now from offering any comments," he said.

The presidential press service said earlier that Russian President Vladimir Putin briefed the French president and the German chancellor in detail over the phone "on the series of negotiations between Russian and Ukrainian representatives held by video link in the past few days."

These talks came as a follow-up to the meetings of the Russian and Ukrainian delegations, which have already held consultations three times in the territory of Belarus, Peskov said.
