Sovereign debt will not be written off - Hetmantsev

KYIV. March 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Ukraine will service its sovereign debt, there will be no write-off, the head of the parliamentary committee on finance, taxation and customs policy, Danylo Hetmantsev, said.

"The sovereign debt issue should be decided by the minister of finance, that is his decision... For that, he has sufficient information. I can say one thing: the debt will not be written off," Hetmantsev said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine when asked about potential debt restructuring.
