U.S. embassy handed note over Meta statements - Ryabkov

MOSCOW. March 12 (Interfax) - The United States Embassy in Moscow has been handed a note over Meta's actions, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

"Yesterday the American embassy was handed a note [informing] that a case will be instituted under Article 280 [of Russian Criminal Code, extremism] in regard to the company's management and those allowing the dissemination of this sort of absolutely criminal statements, unacceptable even by U.S. political standards," Ryabkov said on the Big Game program on Channel One on Saturday.
