YouTube says is blocking channels associated with Russian state-funded media worldwide, stops monetization in Russia
MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax) - YouTube it is blocking access to YouTube channels associated with Russian state-funded media globally and is stopping all monetization in Russia.
"We are also now blocking access to YouTube channels associated with Russian state-funded media globally, expanding from across Europe. This change is effective immediately, and we expect our systems to take time to ramp up," YouTube said in a statement published on its official Twitter account on Friday.
YouTube is also pausing all ways to monetize the platform in Russia, the report said.
