Baku ready to sign peace agreement with Yerevan if Armenia manifests political will - Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry

BAKU. March 11 (Interfax) - Baku is ready to close the history of the conflict with Armenia, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov said.

"If Armenia manifests the political will, we are ready to turn the page of the conflict's history, and also sign a peace agreement to normalize relations with Armenia," Khalafov told reporters on Friday.

The main priority is restoration of communications, including the opening of a railroad and a motorway to Nakhichevan, he said.

"We are ready to start the process of border delimitation with Armenia without any preconditions," the deputy minister said.
