Russia, Mali discuss military cooperation, continuation of constructive dialogue - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin and Mali Defense Minister Sadio Camara have discussed bilateral military cooperation and have expressed the readiness for further dialogue at a working meeting, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin had a working meeting with Mali Minister of Defense and Veterans Affairs Col. Sadio Camara on March 11, 2022," the ministry said.

"The sides had a detailed discussion of current defense cooperation projects and regional security in West Africa," it said.

"Fomin noted the importance of Russia-Mali interaction and reaffirmed the Russian Defense Ministry's readiness for further constructive dialogue," the ministry said.
