Rostec says its website came under cyberattack

MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax) - The Russian State Corporation Rostec has said that its website came under cyberattack on Friday.

"We had to briefly close the website. The attack has been repelled, and now the website is functioning again and all information about the corporation is available in full," Rostec said.

The corporation's website has been subjected to hacker attacks almost daily since late February, it said.

"The latest attack began at 11:30 a.m. today. Its masterminds are radicals from Ukraine," Rostec said.

Rostec head Sergei Chemezov has described the operation in Ukraine as a forced measure, as, he said, Ukraine was planning an attack on Donbas and Russia.
