Russia-Ukraine summit conceptually possible yet delegations, ministers should do their job first - Peskov

MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax) - A meeting between the Russian and Ukrainian presidents is conceptually possible yet delegations and ministers from both countries should do their job first, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"No one rules out a possible meeting between Putin and Zelensky. Yes, indeed, it is conceptually possible, but delegations and ministers should do their job first so that a meeting and conversation between the presidents are not a goal in itself but so that they meet for the sake of results," Peskov said at a press briefing on Friday.

"The Russian stance is well known, it is clearly formulated and relayed to the Ukrainian negotiators, and we are waiting for a counter presentation," he said.
