Almost no lines to checkpoints on Ukraine's western border - State Border Guard Service

KYIV. March 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) - There were practically no lines to 16 out of 22 Ukrainian checkpoints on the borders with Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Moldova and Romania as of 8 a.m. on Friday, the Western Regional Department of the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service said on Facebook.

Short lines were observed at the Krakovets checkpoint on the Polish border (five buses), the Uzhhorod checkpoint on the Slovak border (40 cars), and four out of five checkpoints on the Hungarian border, namely Tisa (20 buses, no pedestrians allowed), Zvonkove (20 pedestrians), Kosyno (8 cars and 15 pedestrians), and Luzhanka (10 cars).

There are no lines to the other checkpoints, including all checkpoints on the borders with Romania and Moldova, it said.
