Putin approves giving Western-made weapons seized in Ukraine to DPR, LPR
MOSCOW. March 11 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has supported the proposal to hand over Western-made weapons seized in Ukraine to the forces of the Donetsk (DPR) and Luhansk (LPR) People's Republics.
"As regards supplies of weapons, especially Western-made weapons which have ended up in the hands of the Russian army, of course, I support the possibility of transferring them to military units of the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics. Please, do it. If any decisions are needed here at my level, I am ready," Putin said at a meeting with permanent members of the Russian Security Council on Friday.
